LGBT Non Profit Unveils New Brand

January 12, 2015

Pensacola, Fla. — Pensacola-based Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) non-profit organization, Sunday's Child, launches new brand and website at sundayschild.org.

The new brand, designed by Kris Poore, Creative Director at idgroup, Sunday's Child board member and out professional, comes in celebration of the 2015 new year, and the organization's inaugural year.

The new logo features a six-sided hexagon that incorporates the colors of the rainbow, a commonly used design element representative of the LGBT community worldwide.

"The mission of Sunday's Child is something very important to me, and close to home," says Poore. "The logo represents more than just the LGBT community. It's meant to represent a wide range of people. It's meant to capture the true meaning of diversity—in all its entirety."

In addition to the new logo, Poore developed the newly revamped website, as well as the stationery materials for the executive committee to use for the normal operations of the organization.
