Grants

Grants of $25,000 each will be awarded to nonprofits that serve the Pensacola Bay Area and place value on diversity, inclusion, and equality.

The Sunday's Child Grant Review Committees, composed of 2026 members, will review and evaluate the applicants for quality, contribution significance, and inclusivity. Finalists will present at the annual membership meeting on Sunday, October 18, 2026.  After the presentation, a vote from members will determine the award recipients.  

 

KEY DATES

Grant Review Committees will meet virtually or in person during April and May for the review process.  The Grant Review Committees will decide which applicants will be finalists.

To promote equality and inspire inclusion across the community by awarding grants for significant charitable and economic initiatives.

Our Vision

A fully accepting and inclusive Pensacola Bay Area that embraces LGBTQ+ citizens and their contributions to the community.

Areas of Interest

  • Initiatives that promote environmental protection, restoration, or enhancement; promote health and well-being of animals; and/or promote or enhance recreational opportunities in the Pensacola Bay Area

  • Initiatives that improve the mental and/or physical health and wellness of people living in the Pensacola Bay Area.

  • Initiatives that cultivate, develop, and enhance the cultural and artistic climate or preserve the historic heritage of the Pensacola Bay Area.  Initiatives that promote or enhance the learning process or improve access to education and training for children and/or adults in the Pensacola Bay Area        

  • Initiatives that develop or enhance direct services to people in need and/or promote community or economic development to improve the quality of life and economic status of the community.
